A particularly WONDERFUL work weekend

I don't usually share my work on this blog, I like to keep it separate over here, but this last weekend I was particularly in love with the wedding I worked on.  The bride was amazingly sweet and the details that she and her coordinator, my fav Courtney at After the Engagement, put together were divine!  Pure perfection!  I loved every bit of it and wish it had been my BIG DAY!!!

Cool wedding FEATURE

I rarely post about work on this blog, see here for Flower blog, but I just had to feature this one.  I was so honored to be featured by True Photography on their flower blog.  We worked on a gorgeous wedding together and the pictures are amazing!

Don't give up on me!

I'm still here.  House projects, wedding season, shower planning, and an adorable 7 month old are keeping me away from the computer but I am still here.  I haven't had a chance to take final shots of the kitchen floor yet because I can't seem to find time to mop it :).  I will do that soon though I promise.

Wedding season is in full swing with some awesome weddings already completed.  I got a lovely review from a MOB today that made me feel good but at the same time I got an email from a bride who wants to discuss the quality of her peonies when she gets back from her honeymoon.  You can't win them all and unfortunately I can't control Mother Nature and some things (like quality of flowers) are out of my control.  I made it work in the end and think that the wedding turned out beautiful.  Enough on that...

My sisters adorable Birds and BEE themed shower is coming right along.  I made these adorable invites and the RSVP's are rolling in.  I can't wait to share all the details when it is all over.  Lots of projects and details to share.  Click HERE for a blank .pdf printable so you can use it for a shower or party you are throwing, all you have to do is add a text box.

And then there is my little Eli...more adorable everyday and more and more active as well.  He is crawling all over and we have yet to baby proof the house.  Need to seriously get on that!  We had some rough nights last week which is very unusual but then he found his stomach and all is well at night again, fingers crossed.

It's been really hectic around these parts and doesn't seem like it will slow down so I will try to keep up on my blogging as best I can.  There is so much to share but it seems like I can never find the time.

In other life news, not much going on.  Jeremiah and I are going to Big Bear next weekend on a little couple weekend with my sister and brother-in-law and with our good friend Rachel and her husband Richie.  We are really looking forward to a fun weekend away from work and even though we probably won't snowboard like we usually do, we are the only couple that snowboards, we are still looking forward to all the fun.


I am trying to get the motivation to finally finish up the kitchen by painting the walls and putting those last details so all that can be finished and one more thing checked off my house "to-do" list.  Looking forward to sharing those pictures soon.

It's been long over due, as mentioned by my sweet sweet sister like almost every week! So I finally sat down and re-designed the whole thing. Now according to my sister it looks "REAL", hmmm thanks sissy! No but really she is right, it is now on a much higher caliber of websites and I don't mean to toot my own horn but I did the entire thing myself. Just like my logo, it takes me a few tries but I figure things out :). (Oh, another Sally thing...I HATE asking for help so I figure it out even if it takes me a year).
