So I was planning the entire wedding weekend itinerary right now and instead of finishing it up I got distracted and started planning the ceremony. Lots to decide on...songs need to be selected (I think I got most of the ones I want), scripture needs to be selected (I have narrowed it down to a few) and vows need to be selected. I definitely want to have traditional wedding vows but I can't seem to find the ones I want. There are so many variations, maybe I will piece a couple together.
Now I need to decide on the "Unity" portion of the ceremony...sand, candles, other ideas. I kind of want to do something totally different, any ideas? Maybe I can incorporate something really special to Jeremiah and I. I will definitely have to think about that one. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?
I am posting this video because ever since I saw Father of the Bride when I was 10 years old I have always loved this scene, even when I watch it now I get tears in my eyes...I think I will just copy this ceremony and fulfill one of my biggest child hood fantasies :).

Feather Headband
So ladies, what do we think of the feather headband?!?!?! I bought it on Thursday and I am still not sure. I think they look so cute on other people (i.e. my cousin Amy C.), on me I am not sure what I think. Maybe I just need the perfect outfit...in this picture I am wearing Uggs, leggings and a long shirt...actually I think this is the perfect "fun" outfit for this headband but still I am not sure! I am usually so confidant in my choice of clothes and accessories and I love being adventurous in my outfits but I am not so sure about this one.
Can I pull it off???
or
Does it just look like a dead quail wing on the side of my head???
Maybe I need more volume in my hair. Either way, I am going to try it out today and see how I feel. Heck I may have to stop wearing it altogether just because of the fact that it is pinching my skull and I can feel a headache coming on and we all know how unpleasant "headache Sally" is :). She's almost as bad as "hungry Sally" :).

Temecula...maybe
It is only 53 days till Miah and I wed and we still have not made a decision on where we are going to live. Initially we will live at mine and my sisters house on Trojan Avenue in the SDSU area but then shortly after that we will have to move and we still have no idea where. Jeremiah plans on buying a house but can't stomach buying a house in the San Diego market so his latest scheme is to buy in Temecula!!! Yes you can get LOTS more bang for your buck but it's Temecula!!! I guess it's better than Texas...sorry to my Texan sister-in-laws (Ya'll know you want to come "home" to CA ;). We'll just wait to see what happens and if we move it will be an adventure and a lot of gas.
P.S. Twilight is out on DVD and I still don't own it!!! I was sure I would have it the moment it hit the shelves but I haven't had a moment to get to Target and buy it :(. Darn WORK, you're getting in the way of me and my "fictional character true love" Edward Cullen!!!
P.S.S. My actor true love is Leonardo DiCaprio of course and my true true love is Jeremiah but he knows he might be dropped in a second for either one of the above 2 :)

Invites are out
So, I FINALLY got the wedding invites out today!!!! One problem though...I had them all addressed and stamped with cute little sunflower stamps placed on them and I sa so excited at how cute everything looked. Then I went to the post office...I got to the counter and decided to make sure that I had the correct amount of postage so I handed one invite over to the man on the other side. He took it and weighed it and then told me that it needed 17 more cents!!!! "Well" I asked, "Do you have 17 cent sunflower stamps?" He replied "No" with a smile and said "all we have are these blue goat head stamps." My heart sunk, "NOOOOO!" I thought, "how tacky." He then informed me that I should have bought the "wedding stamps" which have a value of 59 cents and this would have not been a problem. It was to late now...all the invites had their stamps on them!!! He actually looked sorry for me and told me that if he had put the goat next to the sunflower stamp his wife would have killed him..."thanks for the advice!"
Anyway, with a sad feeling in my heart the invites went out with a cute sunflower stamp and then an ugly blue goat head stamp! Oh well, I'm not perfect and I don't pretend to be so it will be ok. It's just a stamp and the important thing is the marriage and not the postage on the invites.

Will it be an easy transition?
OK, so I am not scared or anything but I have been thinking a lot lately about what the days will be like after Jeremiah and I get married. I know that I will absolutely love being married to him and it is what I have always wanted and I can't wait to be a wife but...will it be an easy transition? I have never lived with him and I am afraid that my "ways" and his "ways" might be a problem. The only person I have ever lived with in a room was my sister and she moved out about 6 years ago, so I am very used to having my own room and my own space and my own things in a very particular order. Will I get annoyed if he doesn't put his clothes away? Will I get cranky if he leaves his socks on the floor EVERYDAY? These are things he does now and right now they don't bother me but is that because they are in "His" room and not mine?
How will I deal with this? Should I just make up my mind to accept these things or should I set friendly "guidelines"? I don't want to seem like a NAG right from the start. He knows how my room is and while it is not perfect all the time, it is orderly and tidy. Will he pick up on that and follow my lead? All these questions!!! Maybe I will be so happy that I won't even notice when he washes his face, brushes his teeth and then leaves the counter covered in water and soap and towels. Maybe I will be so excited to be a new bride that I will want to clean up after my wonderful new husband??? Yes, No? I just don't want him to think, "Gosh who did I marry?" Since we have never lived together these are things to think about, right?
Advice, comments, suggestions...

Critical Mass bike ride
Just wanted to share a couple pics from my weekend. Jeremiah and I went on the Critical Mass bike ride through San Diego on Friday night. Ok, well not through San Diego, we had a bit of disaster with his bike (the pedal fell off) so we were a little behind and when I stopped at Henry's in Hillcrest for a water, we lost the group. The ended up at 30th and Fern in South Park and we ended up at University and 8th in Hillcrest. Basically when they went right, I led Jeremiah left but we still had a lot of fun. We went with a group that wore 70's basketball gear...hence the cute outfits but as usual Jeremiah's tipped the scales for best outfit. Imagine him riding his bike through Hillcrest in that outfit, he is very secure :).
It was a really great experience and we are definitely going to do it again next month, the riders meet at the fountain in Balboa Park the last Friday of every month around 8 PM and take off from there. They go through Balboa Park, over the Prado bridge onto 6th avenue and then wherever the crowd leads. They have been known to end up in Mission Valley and sometimes in Pacific Beach! When we were there, the rider count was easily 1100-1200 people so it is quite a sight to see. If anyone is interested it is a fun, free outing on a Friday night and we will be there on March 27th.
